Greer Mayhew ’17 hails from New York City and graduated from Saint Agnes Boys’ High School in Manhattan. At Stony Brook, Greer is a double Sociology and Africana Studies major. Throughout the course of his undergraduate career, he has made it an objective to be involved and help those around him. He has served as an Undergraduate College Fellow, an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for a Freshman Seminar Course and an AIDS Peer Educator on campus. In addition, he has held internships at a few notable political offices within the Greater New York City area. In his free time, Greer enjoys spending time with fun-loving friends: laughing and joking about life. Currently serving as a peer mentor, Greer is truly grateful for the experience to work with an amazing group of young people and help them navigate through the ups and downs of life.
